Each panel is expertly produced in Japan before being meticulously finished by hand in England.

The exterior showcases a deep, sculpted carbon weave, complemented by handcrafted black leather corners, handles and trim. Polished chrome hardware provides a refined contrast, while the ergonomic handle and 4-wheel system ensure effortless movement through airports and city streets.

Inside, the case is lined in our signature Deluxe chamel, offering a soft, elevated surface for clothing and essentials. Adjustable straps secure belongings in place, and the clean, structured interior allows for considered packing.

Carbon Fibre Composite

The exterior shell is crafted from TORAYCA carbon fibre, produced in Japan by Toray, a global leader in advanced composite materials. The fibres are woven in a 2x2 twill pattern before being layered and cured to create a lightweight structure with exceptional tensile strength and impact resistance. This aerospace grade composite is chosen for its balance of lightness, rigidity and durability, allowing the case to maintain its form while remaining remarkably easy to handle. Each carbon fibre panel is precision formed in Japan and then hand assembled in England using the same craftsmanship principles that define every Globe Trotter case.

Vegetable Tanned Leather

All leather elements, including the corners, handles and trims, are made from vegetable tanned hide. This traditional tanning method relies solely on natural plant extracts to produce leather of strength, resilience and refined character. With time, it will develop a gentle sheen that reflects the individuality of each journey.

Ethical Sourcing

All leathers are sourced only from partners who uphold strict standards of animal welfare and environmental responsibility. This ensures traceable, ethically produced materials throughout the case.

Handles

Handles are constructed from bonded leather and reinforcement materials, pressed for 48 hours before hand assembly. This process creates a comfortable grip with long lasting strength, preserving the case’s structural integrity through years of travel.

Lining

The interior is finished with a soft black chamel lining, chosen for its smooth touch, elegant appearance and ability to protect delicate garments. This material is also used within our Deluxe range, providing a refined and elevated interior environment.

Locks and Hardware

All fittings are engineered from precision cast metal and finished in polished chrome. They are selected for security, ease of use and long term durability, ensuring a smooth and dependable experience throughout every journey.

Serial Plaque

A unique metal plaque is placed inside each case, confirming authenticity and providing a permanent mark of provenance.
