The Orient Attaché is a refined and timeless briefcase that brings together Globe-Trotter’s heritage of craftsmanship with a sharp focus on professional utility. Designed for the boardroom and beyond, it offers a structured and elegant solution for carrying workday essentials in style.

Handcrafted in England, the case is constructed from vulcanised fibreboard and finished in Urushi lacquer, a centuries-old Japanese technique involving multiple layers of hand-applied natural sap. The result is a high-gloss finish with remarkable depth and a subtly shifting surface. The exterior is trimmed in inked burgundy leather and finished with polished gold fittings, creating a statement of quiet confidence and distinction.

Inside, the 16-litre chamel-lined interior is designed to accommodate important documents, notebooks and tablets with ease. Integrated compartments offer clear organisation, while a removable leather folio, finished in matching burgundy leather, provides a refined way to carry key papers or accessories separately. The structured format ensures a slim profile while offering robust protection for everything inside.

Vulcanised Fibreboard

Lighter than aluminium and tougher than leather, Vulcanised Fibreboard is our unique proprietary material and is made from 14 layers of recycled paper bonded with zinc. 

Corners

The iconic leather corners of our cases take five days to craft and complete. And are moulded using time-honoured machinery for optimum strength and form.

Handles

It’s quite fitting that our durable handles are made entirely by hand. With the core materials bonded together for 48 hours before construction even begins.

Serial plaque

Each case is truly one of a kind, individualised with its own unique serial number. Find it on a metal plaque inside your case, and use it to track your movements around the globe.

Lining

The inside of your case is an ode to your individual character. Durable and water resistant, the luxurious inner lining is meticulously crafted and can stay suited to the bag or customised to feel individual to you.

Locks

Each case comes with carbon steel locks so you can travel with peace of mind. Turn to a North-South position to unlock and East-West to lock.

Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and PayPal Pay in 3.
