The St. Moritz Vanity Case is a beautifully compact travel companion designed to capture the spirit of winter’s golden age. Inspired by the romance of alpine resorts and the elegance of après-ski, it’s ideal for storing beauty essentials, jewellery, or cherished keepsakes in style.

Handcrafted in England from Globe-Trotter’s signature vulcanised fibreboard, the case is finished with navy leather corners, polished chrome fittings, and a vibrant red leather handle. The exterior detail takes subtle cues from vintage ski gear, bringing a refined sense of alpine charm to your travels.

Inside, the soft fabric-lined interior includes a detachable mirror and elasticated pockets for practical organisation. The structured design ensures your belongings remain secure whether you’re at a five-star lodge or en route to your next destination.

Vulcanised Fibreboard

The Vanity Case is constructed from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, made from 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp sourced from sustainable forests. The material is bonded with zinc and compressed using steam and pressure, resulting in a shell that is exceptionally lightweight, strong, and unique to Globe-Trotter.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather

All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.

Ethical Sourcing

All leather is ethically sourced, ensuring full traceability and a commitment to animal welfare and environmentally responsible production.

Internal Tray

Inside, the Vanity Case features a removable wooden tray, expertly crafted for structural integrity and lightness. The tray is lined with finely woven cotton or cotton-blend fabric and finished with hand-cut, vegetable-tanned leather trims for added refinement and durability.

Handle

The top handle is constructed from reinforced, vegetable-tanned leather, bonded, pressed, and hand-finished for comfort and lasting strength.

Lining

The interior, including the tray, is lined with a premium cotton or cotton-blend fabric, selected for its soft feel, durability, and complementary colour.

Locks and Hardware

The Vanity Case features a precision-engineered combination lock and fittings made from carbon steel or solid brass, finished in gold, chrome, or signature tones. All hardware is chosen for security, longevity, and refined style.

Serial Plaque

A unique, individually numbered metal plaque is fitted inside each Vanity Case, certifying authenticity and providing a permanent record of provenance.
