F1 2024 Insider's Guide No. 24 – Abu Dhabi

As 2025 screeches to a close, it has been a remarkable season of Formula One® racing—one for the history books. This year, the teams, cars, drivers, and fans have jetted around the globe, savouring the thrill of each race, with the sport enjoying unprecedented popularity.

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team will aim to put on a good show for the fans one last time this season as the F1 rollercoaster reaches its final stop under the glittering lights of Yas Island for the Etihad Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024. Known for its stunning location, the Yas Marina Circuit is a modern marvel. It’s the only F1® track to run under a luxury hotel—the W Abu Dhabi—and famously hosts F1®’s first-ever twilight race, transitioning from sunset to floodlit spectacle.

A relatively new addition to the F1® calendar since its debut in 2009, the circuit consistently delivers adrenaline-pumping action, making it the perfect finale. As drivers and teams give their all for one last blast before the winter break, fans can expect plenty of drama and unforgettable moments.

F1® never stops though. Once the racing comes to a halt in Abu Dhabi, attention will be firmly on 2025, with Aston Martin Aramco focused on preparations for next year’s campaign.

After the chequered flag drops at Yas Marina, the UAE comes alive with celebrations. Abu Dhabi offers a wealth of attractions, and with Dubai nearby, the excitement doesn’t stop. We hope you’ve enjoyed this thrilling season and look forward to seeing you next year.
