Introducing the latest It bag to join the Globe-Trotter family.
Much like a decent winter coat and a good pair of boots, handbags are the kind of wardrobe essentials that never go out of fashion. They do, however, come in all shapes and sizes.
The AW17 fashion season has been all about statement bags; whether oversized à la Loewe and Céline, or lavishly embellished, as seen on the Gucci and Fendi catwalks. One of the biggest bag trends of the season, however, was the box bag. Victoria Beckham kept hers ladylike with vanity-box inspired shapes, while Italian fashion giants Dolce & Gabbana adorned their box bags with playful appliqué.
Globe-Trotter has also been thinking outside the box this season. On the 1st December it will be launching a brand new model, the London Square – a design evolution of the much-loved Mini Utility case. A roomy yet compact shape, the new style comes with an extended leather handle and adjustable straps, meaning you can transport it in a number of different ways. The collection is available in several colour combinations from the Centenary, Centenary Special and Deluxe ranges. Like all Globe-Trotter accessories and luggage, the London Square is made by hand at the UK factory using traditional craftsmanship techniques. Suffice to say, it certainly ticks all the boxes when it comes to buying the perfect Christmas present.
Prices start from £635. The London Square will be available from 1 December online and at the Globe-Trotter flagship stores in Mayfair and Tokyo.
