Inspired by the original steamer trunk, Globe-Trotter’s large capacity luggage designed for the cabins in steamer ships and trains, is now available in the new Globe-Trotter Trunk. Reinterpreted for modern-day travel with 4-wheels, the new trunk has the largest capacity at 100 litres, enough to take numerous outfits, footwear, accessories and personal belongings last over two weeks’ worth of travelling.

Honouring the recognisable Centenary design, the trunk comes complete with robust vegetable-tanned bull leather corners and straps to keep your luggage protected over the course of your journey. A telescopic trolley system allows you to effortlessly steer your way across any terrain.

Vulcanised Fibreboard

Lighter than aluminium and tougher than leather, Vulcanised Fibreboard is our unique proprietary material and is made from 14 layers of recycled paper bonded with zinc. 

Corners

The iconic leather corners of our cases take five days to craft and complete. And are moulded using time-honoured machinery for optimum strength and form.

Handles

It’s quite fitting that our durable handles are made entirely by hand. With the core materials bonded together for 48 hours before construction even begins.

Serial plaque

Each case is truly one of a kind, individualised with its own unique serial number. Find it on a metal plaque inside your case, and use it to track your movements around the globe.

Lining

The inside of your case is an ode to your individual character. Durable and water resistant, the luxurious inner lining is meticulously crafted and can stay suited to the bag or customised to feel individual to you.

Locks

Each case comes with carbon steel locks so you can travel with peace of mind. Turn to a North-South position to unlock and East-West to lock.
